The Excellence in Service Recognition for December belongs to a dedicated leader who has served the Jackson County Board of Education over the past 13 years. Michael Cronic is a graduate of Jackson County Schools and has continuously demonstrated love and commitment to the school district and students we serve.
Mr. Cronic has been loyal to the Jackson County Community and has been an active leader and supporter of the Jackson County FFA and the FFA Alumni. He has also worked diligently to secure support for the Jackson County Agricultural Programs and was instrumental in securing trucks, trailers, and equipment by investing his own time and dime!
Mr. Cronic is solution oriented and seeks resolution even when times are tough. During the most challenging times of the school district’s history, Mr. Cronic stayed the course and supported the district effort to reach goals.
Mr. Cronic is fiscally focused and has always been a SPLOST cheerleader. We almost reached the million dollar mark and look forward to celebrating with him when our first million dollar month is achieved! Mr. Cronic has been committed to ensuring quality facilities and has worked hard to partner in preparing for the growth in Jackson County.
Mr. Cronic values partnerships and has been an advocate for coordinated efforts among the Jackson County Commissioners, Recreational Department, and other agencies that work to make Jackson County a great place to live, work, play, and learn.
Mr. Cronic has always been open to community feedback and partnership and works to promote Jackson County Schools and all its stakeholders.
In addition to being honored by the Jackson County School System at the December Board of Education meeting, Mr. Ricky Sanders, Director of the
Jackson County Parks and Recreation
presented Mr. Cronic with a print of the original Braselton High School in appreciation of his service to the community.
For these and many other reasons, Mr. Michael Cronic is this month’s only Excellence in Service Recognition.
