JEFFERSON, Ga. — Two juveniles have been arrested in connection with a burglary investigation in Jefferson, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
The arrests were made on April 30, 2026, by the agency’s Criminal Investigations Division following an inquiry into a reported burglary in the area.
Both juveniles are facing multiple charges, including first-degree burglary, second-degree criminal damage to property, felony theft by taking, and criminal trespass.
Authorities said the suspects were booked into the Jackson County Jail but were later released to the custody of their parents.
No additional details about the burglary or the identities of the juveniles have been released due to their ages.
The sheriff’s office credited investigators for their work in bringing the case to a close.
