Commerce High School has announced the hiring of Lenny Gregory as its new head football coach. Gregory, who comes with an impressive coaching resume, is stepping into the role to lead the Tigers into their next chapter. Known for his success at Collins Hill High School, where he guided the team to a Class 7A state championship, Gregory brings experience in developing competitive teams and top-tier talent.
Before joining Commerce, Gregory revitalized the program at Gordon Central High School, leading the team to one of its most successful seasons in recent years. His coaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, player development, and a commitment to excellence on and off the field.
Gregory takes over a Commerce program steeped in tradition and history, replacing former head coach Mark Hollars. The Tigers have consistently been a strong presence in Georgia high school football, and Gregory is poised to continue that legacy while aiming for new heights.
As Gregory settles into his new role, the community is optimistic about his ability to lead the Tigers to success, combining his track record of winning and player mentorship. The upcoming season promises excitement as the team prepares to build on its foundation with fresh leadership.
